My husband and I recently purchased a home with the help of Ernie and his wife, Christine, in Star, Idaho. Our unique circumstances required us to buy a home long distance. Their frequent communication and responsiveness made this a very smooth transaction. They represented us in a professional manner at every step of the process. They provided video tours and Zoom meetings to narrow our search. Their friendly dispositions and warm sense of humor helped to elevate what could have been a stressful situation. In December of 2016, my family and I purchased our first home, in Boise ID. Ernie was our Real Estate Agent at the time, and had a great home purchase experience. In February 2018, we ended up having to sell that home, due to my husband's job relocating. Ernie was our Real Estate Agent for the sale of the home as well. In November 2020, we decided to move back to Idaho, and could think of no other Real Estate agent to work with, other than Ernie! We made contact, and ultimately ended up purchasing a home in Caldwell Idaho, sight unseen (we were living in Arizona at the time). The level of trust we have in Ernie is to such an extent, that we had no issues in buying the house without seeing it in person (albeit short of Skype video calls), all while taking place during COVID-19! Ernie is extremely knowledgeable, personable, readily-available, and meticulous in his approach. The level of care he shows is world-class! There is a reason we have used his services for a total of 3 times!!! You can't go wrong with Ernie and Christine Gentile! They WILL take care of you! Here's one of many examples, which showcase their level of customer care: when we first entered the house, Ernie had left food and toiletry essentials, and made sure to turn on the heater (we moved into the home in January). Those items proved essential indeed, as they held us over until we had all our belongings delivered to our new home! The warm house was a very nice touch, and greatly appreciated!

We were surrounded by options for a realtor and it got a little overwhelming. When Ernie came recommend we decided to give him a try. We were so happy with that decision! From the first contact to the celebration at closing we were never disappointed. We called and texted Ernie at all hours of the day and night when something hit the market we were interested in. He was so quick to respond knowing the importance of moving quickly in this current market. He walked us through the buying process and encouraged questions so we were fully prepared to make this big purchase.We can't express enough how happy we were with the level of service and expertise we recieved from Ernie! He is a friendly and knowledgeable guy who will work hard to help you get the house you want.

Ernie was not only an amazing realtor but also a great person. He made my family and i feel stress free during our home search. He was always available anytime we needed him and answered all of our endless questions or concerns. We had spoke with several realtors and he was the only one who showed us he actually cared about our home needs. He was also so kind with our kids. I cannot say enough to reflect how much I enjoyed working with Ernie. Buying a house is an incredibly stressful process, and my move was hard because I was transitioning my life from California to Idaho. Ernie went out of his way to make the buying process as easy as possible. I honestly don't know how I would have made it through this without him. If you are in the market for a home, especially in the Boise area, do yourself a favor and give Ernie a call.
